For broader retrofits, the Home Renovation Savings program starts with an initial assessment and requires at least two qualifying upgrades.
A registered energy advisor evaluates the home and provides a Renovation Upgrade Report. The homeowner selects at least two qualifying upgrades, completes the work and returns to the same advisor for a follow-up assessment.
Under the current program, successful completion includes a $600 rebate to offset the initial and follow-up assessments. Completing three qualifying upgrades adds a further $500 rebate.
